Got my new door bell quick, via Prime. There is volume control on the side and you can change the chime as well (up and down buttons on the side). There are lots of different chimes to choose from, so plenty of choices. You have the choice of screwing the bell to the wall or you can carry it around the house /garden. It has the appearance of a ring door bell which is nice.

I like the fact that you can take the door bell with you because it takes battery's. So no need to plug into the electric. But I would of liked the bell to be louder in volume

The tecknet doorbell arrived well packaged, in the box were the doorbell with batteries included, the doorbell receiver, full instructions, screws and wallplugs, two sticky pads and a plastic card.The doorbell is very well made and feels solid and sturdy without being too heavy. The doorbell can be mounted using the screws and wallplugs or stuck onto the door using the sticky pad. The plastic card is attached to the door with a sticky pad.The doorbell receiver can be hung up or placed on a surface, it takes AA batteries ( not included). The doorbell and receiver has a light ring that spins in different colours when the bell is pressed and the receiver chimes.The volume can be adjusted by pressing the button on the side there are four volume levels and a silent with light only option. The melodies or sounds are picked using the up and down arrow buttons, there are lots to choose from including doorbell chimes, a dog barking, classical and themes from films.The range of the receiver is good so it can be taken into another room if needed. The battery life of the doorbell is very good and when the battery needs changing, the front of the doorbell pops off using a screwdriver.I my opinion for the price it is really good value and I am really pleased with it.
