This device is absolutely brilliant. It is easy to setup and easy to install. The range is phenomenal and the sensor easily connected to the receptor. I love that the system has various alarm settings. I have an overly nosey and untrustworthy neighbor who likes to spy on people through fences. I can now go outside without the "element of surprise" that she is peeking through the fence.

Perfect! I bought this TECKNET solar wireless driveway alarm to monitor the end of my driveway. I've had problems with mystery vehicles in my driveway that leave when I see them. Who knows how many times they've been there and I missed them. This monitor was super easy to set up. I put the sensor on a T post about 30" from the ground. It has a thick rubber flap on the bottom that protects the USB port and power switch from weather. It functions flawlessly to alert for vehicles or pedestrians, even with my car parked between it and the receiver. The receiver runs on 4 AA batteries-not included, or a USB cable. I am using batteries so I can take the receiver outdoors with me. The receiver has many options for chimes, is loud enough to be heard throughout several rooms, or many yards/meters outdoors. There are up to 4 areas that can be monitored with one receiver, but I am only using one receiver and one sensor. I like this product so much I wish I had bought one with more sensors.

Works better than I expected. Comes with an alarm of a dog barking which is what we've chosen to use. Now, whenever someone pulls into the drivway our "dog" barks a few times to let us know. It's nice as with so many other similar sounds and beeps in the house (phones, computers, dishwasher, etc.) the "bark" is distinctive and is easily identifiable as our driveway alarm.
